Day 21 - Game with the best story

In The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening, Link finds himself on a mysterious island. He searches for the truth about the island and a way to get home.

You know what makes this so great? For once, Link isn't trying to stop some evil being (like Ganon, or maybe Ganon) from destroying the entire world. He's not really in immediate danger at all. He's just searching, looking for answers.

He could stay on the island the rest of his life if he wanted to - unlike most other games, nothing bad would happen to anyone else if the main character sat around doing nothing. (The fact that you're playing the game means you'd rather not do that.) He goes on his quest by choice rather than out of a moral obligation, and I think that makes the story somehow more powerful.
